Bio

Karen Poole is a singer, songwriter, musician, producer, indie contemporary gospel artist, and worship leader originally from Norfolk, VA where she began her music career.  An alumna of Norfolk State University, Karen relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2017. Karen, bringing a soulful, yet eclectic blend of Contemporary Gospel and Contemporary Christian, sets the stage to allow the prophetic to flow through the ministry of song. Born into a family of songwriters, singers, and musicians, Karen has been actively involved in music ministry from a very young age.

Karen’s debut EP, entitled Life Lessons, was released in 2010. Life Lessons and additional Karen Poole releases are available on all digital media outlets. Karen has made many appearances nationally. In 2017, Karen toured in Germany with the Black Gospel Angels. Throughout her musical career, Karen’s uniquely anointed sound has given her the opportunities to be a featured background singer for several major artists such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Chrystal Rucker, Deitrick Haddon, DeWayne Woods, Ted Winn, Natalie Wilson, and others. Karen has served on the same programs with various artists such as: The David Crowder Band, Canton Jones, Travis Greene, Brian Courtney Wilson, John P. Kee, Zacardi Cortez, Isaiah Templeton, and Travis Malloy. 

Karen is excited about her upcoming single release, He Did It For Love, set to be released on February 14, 2019. This is a highly anticipated message of encouragement that is sure to take the industry by storm. It is with great faith and determination, that Karen Poole is devoted to spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom through an elite sound that will captivate, motivate, and liberate the masses.
